Judys extraordinary success on behalf of her clients is a testimonial to her hard work, dedication and perseverance. These qualities have made her one of her offices consistent top producers, and in 2004 and 2005 she earned Dilbeck's "Award of Excellence." "I am continually fascinated by how complex and transformational the process of buying or selling a home can be. It certainly is a life-altering experience and not just a sales transaction," she says. "My goal is to make the experience rewarding, trouble free, and even fun for my clients." Although she was first licensed in 1997, her ongoing commitment to advanced education and desire to provide her clients with the highest possible level of service lead Judy to study for and earn a California Department of Real Estate Brokers license in October 2005.
Prior to listing a home for sale, Judy furnishes sellers with a free, honest, written comparative market analysis and marketing plans that are both flexible and dynamic. Her clients have been delighted by the results of her comprehensive, results-oriented approach. Judy also believes her buyer clients benefit far more from her educational, consultative method than high-pressure sales tactics. In addition to being an area residential specialist for Burbank, Toluca Lake, North Hollywood, Studio City, Hollywood Hills, Valley Village, Valley Glen, Glendale, Sherman Oaks, and Eagle Rock, her experience covers corporate relocations, multi-residential income properties, vacant land sales, horse property, and probate sales.
Judy became a real estate professional not long after buying her own first home. Even though she had already purchased, she never stopped looking at new listings and found that she enjoyed sharing her knowledge with others. "I really enjoy helping people make these transitions. I've gotten to know people very well, assisted them and their families, and made some really good friends, too," she adds. Additionally, as a long-time legal assistant for large, national law firms, she was well prepared for the challenging detail and contractual aspects of real estate sales. Originally from Arizona, her past employment history also includes entertainment industry experience and professional fundraising for educational and arts foundations. She has lived in Burbank for more than 30 years and is married to writer Steve Fisher. In her spare time, Judy enjoys traveling with Steve. They are planning a trip to Normandy, France, in 2010. She also enjoys blogging about real estate, working out at the local Y, searching iTunes for new music to download (see the real-estate-related iMix page), hanging around the house with their four cats, and listening to Steve play blues guitar.
