Attractions

The entire region was excited when the "destination" shopping center, Americana, opened in 2007.  It is truly a destination -- in addition to luxe shopping and great eateries, the public areas host concerts, fashion shows, etc.  The holiday decorations are amazing! It also offers housing, and its 200+ condos quickly sold out when they came on the market.  There's even a trolley running through the middle of the complex.
The Forest Lawn Memorial Park is perhaps the most famous cemetery on this side of the country. It is the final resting place of some of Hollywood’s most influential members, among them Michael Jackson, Jimmy Stewart and L. Frank Baum, the author of the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. This is one of the most visited cemeteries in the nation as the majority of the graves of the famous people interred here are accessible. In addition, Forest Lawn Memorial Park is the home of the Forest Lawn Museum. The museum displays artifacts and art collected by founder Hubert Eaton. You will find artifacts from India, Asia and Africa among other places. It’s truly a unique experience in Glendale. Visit soon.
